i knew i wanted my DJ name to be one that embodies kindness and community, so it comes from the idea that when you ask who's playing, it's as simple as is true: "my friend maria." my favorite part of DJing is bringing people together, and i've since played for intimate parties and crowds of 400+.

while i play music with a large house influence, my background in singing and harp (yes, i played the harp) allows me to creatively and meticulously craft playlists to be catered to your needs. when i'm not DJing, i work my day job, go on long runs, and foster dogs.
